Stephen Dean is a Catholic composer in the English choral tradition, editor and publisher based in Suffolk, United Kingdom. He works for Decani Music (OCP’s agent in the U.K.), serves as editor and publisher of Laudate (a successful British hymnal), music advisor to the Catholic Diocese of East Anglia, and leads the music in the small parish. Dean founded the St. Thomas More Group along with Christopher Walker, Bernadette Farrell, Paul Inwood, Anne Quigley and other composers in 1969. Dean’s compositions include “May You Walk with Christ,” “Thanks Be to God” and “Ours Were the Griefs He Bore.”
