Sister Paule Freeburg is a Catholic liturgical composer and educator. A member of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, she lives with her community in Mountain View, just north of San Jose, California. Sister Paule is the religion consultant for the Diocese of San Jose and she also works in development and public relations at a school for economically disadvantaged children. A long-time collaborator with composer Christopher Walker, Sister Paule has written song and prayer texts for many well-known collections of children’s music. Her compositions include “Music for Children’s Liturgy of the Word” and “The Way of the Cross for Children” (both with Christopher Walker).
