Francisco José Gómez Argüello Wirtz is a Spanish artist, composer, author and one of the founders of the Neocatechumenal Way. An internationally recognized painter and architect, his work can be found all over the world. He was awarded the Spanish Extraordinary National Prize for Painting in 1959 and has honorary degrees from the Pontificial John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lubin and the Catholic University of America for his work for the Church. His compositions include “Resucitó” and “Hacia Ti, Morada Santa.”
