Elaine Rendler-McQueeney is a nationally recognized musician, teacher, author, composer, pastoral liturgist and speaker. She is associate professor of music theory at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. For many years she was the director of the Georgetown Chorale in Washington, D.C. Rendler-McQueeney is perhaps best known as the longtime editor and weekly columnist of Today’s Liturgy, the quarterly liturgy preparation magazine from OCP. Her compositions include Keyboard Praise, Volumes 1 and 2, a collection of organ arrangements based on traditional and contemporary hymn tunes. She is also the co-author of Celebrating Marriage, Revised Edition with Paul Covino. Rendler-McQueeney lives in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, where she is music director and organist at her home parish.
