Bio
Daniel Partridge is an accomplished professional horn player as well as the editorial manager at OCP. He has a PhD in music theory from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY) and a dual master’s degree in music theory and French horn performance from the Mannes College of Music. Partridge serves as the principal horn of both Symphony Tacoma and the Vancouver (WA) Symphony Orchestra; he is also a member of two chamber music groups, Chameleon Winds and the Rose City Brass Quintet. Since 2016, he has been the horn instructor at Portland State University. You can hear him on OCP’s recordings of music by Christopher Walker, Dan Schutte, Ricky Manalo, Luke Rosen, Rick Modlin, and many others. Over the years, Daniel has also been active in Catholic music ministry and faith formation for children.
