Christopher Walker is an internationally known lecturer, choral conductor and prolific liturgical composer. Born and educated in England, he was the longtime director of music at Clifton Cathedral in Bristol before moving to the United States and serving as music director of St. Paul the Apostle in Los Angeles, California. He is now based in Santa Monica, California and composes fulltime. Walker was named the National Association of Pastoral Musicians’ pastoral musician of the year in 2012. His extensive oeuvre includes such well-known works as the “Celtic Alleluia” (from the iconic Celtic Mass), “Because the Lord is My Shepherd” and “Stories and Songs of Jesus.”
